Microeconomics has been a very complex but interesting course. Through this class I have learned about some of the principles of how to reason better, especially in terms of economic issues. I've learned that there is a balance to strive for, even when logic tells you one thing it may not be the best choice. The subjects and principles that were taught are things that I can easily see myself trying to apply to my own life decisions.
The assignment that we were asked to post onto our e-portfolio for this class was a paper in which we described the marginal costs and benefits of topic that interests us. The topic that I chose was the renovations to Wrigley Field, home of the Chicago Cubs Major League Baseball team. As the stadium celebrates its 100 year anniversary this year, the owners of the Cubs have outlined their economic plans to help renovate the stadium in order to increase profitability as well as a winning baseball team.
